Discover Qatar is seeking a skilled Transport & Logistics Manager to oversee the Transport unit, including vehicles, drivers, tour guides, and port operations. Key Responsibilities
- Manage Transport & Logistics team, airport staff, port operations, drivers, and vehicles.
- Develop logistics strategies to maximize vehicle and asset utilization.
- Coordinate with Reservations and Products teams for seamless operational execution.
- Oversee vehicle rostering, recruitment, and daily operations.
- Implement Transport SOPs and monitor performance metrics.
- Ensure safety, maintenance, and emergency recovery plans are in place.
- Train, coach, and supervise team members while managing vendor relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
- Valid Qatar Driving License is mandatory.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and financial management skills.
- Excellent command of English; knowledge of European languages or Arabic is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Qatar road network and points of interest.
- Proficient in computer applications; knowledge of buses and coaches is a plus.
- Safety and First Aid certification is an advantage.
