Job Overview
Qatar Airways is hiring a Shop Helper to support shop floor operations, stock management, and customer service. The role ensures efficient stock handling, accurate order preparation, and first-class customer service, contributing to seamless retail operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain efficient shelf filling to ensure constant stock availability.
- Assist in timely preparation of items requested by various departments.
- Help Sales Assistants in packing customer orders and ensure excellent service.
- Report any damage, shortage, or breakage to the Shop Supervisor/Manager promptly.
- Handle inward stock tasks safely, label and barcode items correctly.
- Pick orders accurately for On Trade deliveries.
- Assist in stock inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Collect and arrange trolleys in the parking area for constant availability.
- Present a helpful, courteous, and professional demeanor to customers.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Head of the Department.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- High School qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of job-related experience.
- Experience in material handling in retail or warehouse operations with high-density racking and palletized stock.
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy loads.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
