Job Overview
Qatar Airways is seeking a Service Excellence Learning Specialist to design, develop, and deliver training programs focused on Altea check-in systems, boarding gate functions, and baggage policies for Ground Handling Agents and Qatar Airways personnel. This role ensures employees are equipped with the knowledge, behavior, and skills required to support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop training materials using Group Learning & Development methodology and technology-based learning tools.
- Facilitate training programs using adult learning principles to create an effective learning environment.
- Utilize coaching techniques to improve employee performance.
- Support management in developing employee skills for adapting to dynamic business environments.
- Update training programs in line with changes to Ground Services Manuals.
- Implement effective learning interventions aligned to the 70:20:10 principles.
- Monitor and maintain training records in the Learning Management System.
- Deliver βTrain the Trainerβ programs for Altea Customer Management to enable local training across stations.
- Support Qatar Nationalisation initiatives by training and developing employees according to company standards.
- Perform other department duties as directed by the Head of the Department.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelorβs degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of training delivery methodologies.
- Excellent command of English.
- Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Coaching skills are a plus.
