Job Description

About the Role
This role is for Qatari Nationals only. As a Senior Business Support & Financial Control Analyst, you will support the business with financial analyses, budgeting/forecasting, variance analyses, management reporting, and financial business cases (e.g., investments, insource vs outsource). You will also focus on creating added value to improve decision-making and streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop financial models and conduct analysis using a broad range of quantitative tools.
  • Analyze and report actual revenues and costs; prepare root-cause variance analyses for management (monthly, quarterly, annually).
  • Identify and implement process improvements in conjunction with finance stakeholders or business units.
  • Conduct ad hoc revenue and cost analyses for senior management.
  • Identify and develop KPIs with the business and report regularly.
  • Ensure financial reporting aligns with corporate and finance definitions.
  • Optimize reporting processes for route profitability, financial accounting, and management reporting.
  • Review annual budget submissions in line with key management strategies and targets.
  • Control spending to ensure cost-of-sale targets are met and recommend corrective measures.
  • Review business case proposals to generate incremental revenues or cost reduction.
  • Review contracts/agreements for financial compliance.
  • Consolidate and analyze departmental financial results monthly and yearly.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Business Finance Manager.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant financial analyst experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to review variances and interpret data.
  • Excellent command of English.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of internal finance systems, cost center accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
