Job Overview
Qatar Airways is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst (Offensive Security Expert) to perform hands-on technical cyber security tasks. The role focuses on vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, application security, and cloud security testing to ensure the organization’s cyber resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular vulnerability scans using industry-leading offensive security tools and methodologies.
- Analyze vulnerability results, prioritize remediation, and ensure operationally feasible closure.
- Perform penetration tests on systems and applications to identify security weaknesses.
- Develop and execute penetration testing plans based on a structured calendar.
- Present penetration testing findings to management in a clear, actionable format.
- Simulate advanced persistent threats via red teaming exercises to test defenses and provide improvement recommendations.
- Perform other department duties as directed by the Head of Department.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- High School / Vocational Qualification / Diploma with minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in penetration testing for infrastructure and applications.
- Red teaming experience to identify weaknesses in products and processes.
- Vulnerability scanning to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Security auditing of configurations and systems.
- Advanced skills in application and network security.
- Cloud security knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Infrastructure and application penetration testing expertise.
Preferred Certifications
- SANS GIAC Certified Web Application Defender (GWEB)
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN)
