Job Overview
Qatar Airways Group is building a Talent Pool for Licensed Aircraft Engineers to support its Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) division. This role is responsible for performing and certifying aircraft maintenance activities that directly support flight operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with Qatar Airways and regulatory standards.
- Plan and execute assigned maintenance activities efficiently using approved tools and equipment.
- Ensure final release of completed work, meeting dispatch reliability and deferred defect targets.
- Review maintenance procedures and propose improvements where required.
- Maintain aircraft and component serviceability to meet operational schedules.
- Provide technical solutions within authorized limits to resolve maintenance issues.
- Deliver professional support to internal and external customers.
- Ensure compliance with company, customer, and aviation authority policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 4 years of relevant experience, OR
- Diploma / Trade / Vocational qualification in Aircraft Maintenance, or Degree (BEng / BSc) in Aircraft Engineering.
- Holds minimum 1 full Qatar Airways main fleet ICAO/QCAA license (2 licenses preferred).
- Valid licenses, certificates, and authorizations must be attached (mandatory).
