Qatar Airways Group is hiring a Learning Experience Manager to lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of innovative, learner-centric development programs across the organization. This leadership role focuses on learning transformation, technology optimization, governance, and operational excellence to support workforce capability development aligned with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement a learner-centric learning strategy aligned with Qatar Airwaysβ business goals
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate organizational priorities into impactful learning programs
- Lead learning operations including scheduling, logistics, learner support, and digital delivery tools
- Promote innovation in learning experience design through emerging technologies and modern methodologies
- Oversee the learning portfolio using PMO governance frameworks, reporting, and prioritization models
- Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure quality, compliance, and value delivery
- Optimize learning platforms and tools (LXP, LMS, Udemy, HMM Spark, etc.) to increase adoption and accessibility
- Manage learning contracts, service agreements, budgets, and resource allocation
- Drive implementation and adoption of learning technologies and analytics-driven decision making
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of learning programs across instructional design and facilitation teams
- Lead, mentor, and develop Learning Administration and PMO teams
- Lead change management initiatives supporting new learning technologies and processes
- Ensure compliance, audit readiness, and quality standards across all learning activities
- Monitor project health, timelines, and delivery using PMO methodologies
- Support continuous improvement through feedback analysis and operational enhancements
- Participate in cross-functional digital learning and transformation projects
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in learning and development
Qualifications & Experience
Proven ability to source, onboard, and evaluate external learning providers
Bachelorβs Degree or equivalent
Minimum 7 years of job-related experience
6+ years in Learning & Development, including 3+ years in a leadership role
Strong project management experience in PMO environments
Professional certifications (CPLP, ATD, CIPD) preferred
Project Management or PMO certification highly desirable
Excellent command of English language
Strong knowledge of ADDIE, HPI, and learner-centric design models
Hands-on experience with learning platforms such as Cornerstone and Oracle GROW
Ability to analyze L1βL4 learning evaluation data and drive continuous improvement
Experience managing learning budgets, forecasting costs, and vendor contracts
