Job Overview
Qatar Airways Group is seeking an IFEC UI / UX Program Manager to oversee all visual design elements, GUI development, and user experience for seatback IFE systems, connectivity portals, and IFEC applications. This role involves managing operational and functional activities for GUI development and ensuring a seamless, intuitive experience across all platforms on current and upcoming QR fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate emerging UI / UX technologies across digital platforms and incorporate best practices into QR’s GUI framework
- Develop user-friendly and visually appealing GUI for seatback IFE and IFEC mobile applications
- Create user flows for IFE products and PEDs, ensuring ease-of-use across all age groups
- Design GUI experiences aligned with QR brand strategy across all IFEC platforms
- Manage stakeholder deliverables across QR Group, coordinating with multiple OEM suppliers
- Develop plans and scenarios for GUI testing across all design platforms
- Ensure managers and supervisors understand work health and safety requirements and provide appropriate guidance
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in product development and design
- Knowledge of IFE / connectivity systems within an airline or IFE/C vendor environment
- Deep understanding of multiple IFE systems for leading OEMs
- Prior experience in GUI development for aviation
- Experience with UI, Web, and applications on Linux and Android platforms
