Job Overview
Qatar Airways Group is inviting applications for the role of Business Support & Financial Control Analyst in Doha, Qatar. This full-time corporate role offers a unique opportunity to support business operations with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while contributing to strategic decision-making in one of the world’s most awarded airlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop financial models and perform analysis using quantitative tools.
- Analyze revenues and costs; prepare variance analysis and periodic management reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements with finance stakeholders and/or business units.
- Conduct ad hoc revenue and cost analyses for senior management.
- Define, track, and report business KPIs regularly.
- Ensure financial accounting aligns with corporate definitions and reporting standards.
- Optimize reporting processes including route profitability and management reporting.
- Review annual budget submissions according to key management strategies.
- Control expenditures to meet cost-of-sale targets and recommend corrective measures.
- Evaluate business cases for revenue growth or cost reduction.
- Review contracts and agreements for financial compliance.
- Consolidate and analyze departmental financial results monthly and yearly.
- Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience as a financial analyst.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; able to interact across all levels.
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and PowerBI.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- High degree of confidentiality and integrity.
- Innovative and motivated problem-solver.
- Knowledge of cost centre accounting, budgets, and forecasts.
- Preferred: experience in the airline industry.
Estimated Salary
QAR 15,000 – 20,000 per month (estimated, may vary based on experience and allowances).
