Job Overview
Qatar Airways Group is inviting applications for Aircraft Mechanic – Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) based in Doha, Qatar. This full-time role involves performing NDT inspections on aircraft components, ensuring compliance with QCAA/EASA PART-145 standards, and maintaining the highest operational and safety standards in the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform NDT inspections and maintenance tasks on aircraft components in accordance with technical manuals and approved procedures.
- Operate NDT equipment and tooling to meet task objectives and deadlines.
- Ensure completion of assigned tasks within procedures and set timeframes.
- Comply with company health and safety policies and promote safety awareness among team members.
- Rectify aircraft components per QCAA/EASA PART-145 requirements.
- Lead by example and motivate the team to meet productivity and quality standards.
- Interpret technical instructions accurately and apply them to maintenance tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School / Vocational Qualification / Diploma with minimum 3 years relevant experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 2 years relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of certifying experience.
- Degree or equivalent diploma/license in Aircraft Maintenance.
- Basic ICAO Type II license.
- Trade-related certificates and recognized aeronautical/technical training.
- At least one-year practical experience in NDT or similar technical workshop environment.
- Strong skills and competency in the assigned work area.
Estimated Salary
QAR 11,000 – 16,000 per month (estimated, may vary based on experience and allowances).
