Job Overview
Qatar Airways is seeking a Security Agent specialized in CCTV and Access Control to support the Airport Security Operations Centre (ASOC) and terminal security operations. This role ensures proper deployment of security agents, monitors security systems, and maintains high levels of protection for airport assets, personnel, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct security duties within ASOC and terminal areas.
- Ensure contracted security agents meet required standards in the field.
- Deputize in the absence of the security supervisor during airport incidents.
- Monitor and report incidents to the Security Supervisor.
- Follow up on investigations carried out by agents to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Conduct surveillance via CCTV to detect potential security breaches or unlawful interference.
- Maintain regular contact with MOI, immigration authorities, contractors, and airline customers to uphold protection standards.
- Liaise with external agencies and authorities regarding security and protection of airport property.
Qualifications & Skills
- Relevant Vocational, Tertiary, or Trade qualification
- Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
- Good command of English
- Knowledge of reporting procedures and airport security regulations
- Understanding of law enforcement procedures and IATA security standards
- Knowledge of current security technology and CCTV applications
