Job Overview
Qatar Airways is seeking a Senior Flight Operations Technical Support Officer to assist in creating, maintaining, and distributing operational documentation and technical publications for Amiri Flight’s 24/7 global operations. This role ensures compliance with company standards, local, and international regulations while supporting operational efficiency across flight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Flight Operations with daily flight operational activities.
- Liaise with manual owners and stakeholders to produce, revise, and distribute operational and in-house manuals.
- Track, create, review, and release Air Crew Notices (ACN) and handouts.
- Coordinate with various departments within Flight Operations regarding document maintenance and distribution.
- Assist with validation and verification of loadable software aircraft parts before distribution to technical engineering teams.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365, Adobe FrameMaker, SGML/XML, and Adobe Acrobat utilities.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in airline flight operations, with experience in aircraft documentation and library processes preferred.
- Experience in technical writing and Electronic Flight Bag management is a plus.
- Proficient in English, with strong communication, team orientation, social competence, and process-focused mindset.
