About the Role
This role is for Qatari Nationals only. As a Senior Business Support & Financial Control Analyst, you will support the business with financial analyses, budgeting/forecasting, variance analyses, management reporting, and financial business cases (e.g., investments, insource vs outsource). You will also focus on creating added value to improve decision-making and streamline processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop financial models and conduct analysis using a broad range of quantitative tools.
- Analyze and report actual revenues and costs; prepare root-cause variance analyses for management (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Identify and implement process improvements in conjunction with finance stakeholders or business units.
- Conduct ad hoc revenue and cost analyses for senior management.
- Identify and develop KPIs with the business and report regularly.
- Ensure financial reporting aligns with corporate and finance definitions.
- Optimize reporting processes for route profitability, financial accounting, and management reporting.
- Review annual budget submissions in line with key management strategies and targets.
- Control spending to ensure cost-of-sale targets are met and recommend corrective measures.
- Review business case proposals to generate incremental revenues or cost reduction.
- Review contracts/agreements for financial compliance.
- Consolidate and analyze departmental financial results monthly and yearly.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Business Finance Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant financial analyst experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to review variances and interpret data.
- Excellent command of English.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Knowledge of internal finance systems, cost center accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
